"I own a catering and events company, and rely on my body to stay strong, healthy, and functional as I'm on my feet most days, and some days for very long hours! Marc has been expertly guiding me through a few small injuries. In a few short months, we've been able to get me back to not only feeling healthy and strong enough to work out and feel good on a day to day basis as an active person and mom, but to be confident that I can work long days at events, and continue to do so for many years to come.

He is so knowledgeable, and instilled so much confidence in not only his skill and expertise, but in MY ability to actively participate in the healing process.

I was introduced to Marc by Tuff Girl Fitness, and I could not be happier. This is not like any other physical therapy experience I've had before, in the best way possible. I feel listened to, focused on, and the quality of unique, individualized care is unmatched."

"Marc is amazing!! His PT is like nothing I've ever experienced before. I have a bad ankle and bad lower back. Ive had multiple steroid shots and a ton of basic physical therapy appointments where your in a room with 25 other people doing exercises on your own and leave. Both of these experiences have not been positive for me. Truthfully, Marc is the only thing that has really worked for me. His dry needling is amazing!! I am back doing everything I did before my injuries. It's like magic. You get one on one attention for an hour and whatever isn't feeling good, Marc can fix! Marc is really knowledgable and super professional. It's expensive but worth every penny and more! I cant recommended Marc enough!"

"I've been working with Marc for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say his skill in the field is unmatched. As a college baseball player, I came to him with a flexor tendon issue in my elbow that eventually required surgery. Marc guided me through every step of the process, and his knowledge and approach to rehab helped me recover faster than I ever thought possible.

What sets Marc apart is his ability to create personalized plans that actually work. He designed custom lifting and mobility programs tailored to my specific needs, not only helping me recover but also putting me in a better position than I was before surgery. His expertise in physical therapy and movement is truly on another level.

I've worked with multiple physical therapists in the past, but Marc's the only PT I'll stick with for the rest of my career. He genuinely finds joy in seeing his patients improve and goes above and beyond to help them succeed. I can't recommend him enough!"

Frequently Asked Questions About Shoulder Pain Physical Therapy in Cheshire

Have questions about how ProMotion Performance Therapy works? We've answered the most common questions below. If you don't see what you're looking for, give us a call or schedule your free consultation.

How long does it take to recover from shoulder pain?

Recovery time depends on the severity and type of shoulder injury, as well as how long you've been dealing with pain. Many athletes see significant improvements within 4-8 weeks with our Performance Rehab approach. During your free phone consultation, we'll discuss realistic timelines based on your specific condition and goals. Our focus is on efficiency—getting you back to what you love as quickly and safely as possible.

Do I need a referral to see a physical therapist in Connecticut?

A more appropriate question to ask is, "Does my insurance company recognize Performance Rehabilitation as a reimbursable service?".

Answer: YES!

Unlike traditional Physical Therapy providers, Performance Rehabilitation is able to be submitted through your insurance provider under your Out-of-Network benefits. This simply means that we do not have a contracted rate with your insurance company for Physical Therapy services but they will be apply any amount you spend toward your plan.

While we understand that this may create an extra step for those trying to recoup money for physical therapy, this approach allows us to maximize patient care and spend entire sessions with you in a true one-on-one format without being limited by traditional insurance barriers.

Do you take insurance?

We can discuss payment options and insurance during your free phone consultation. Our focus is on providing high-quality, personalized Performance Rehab rather than rushing through insurance-driven protocols. Many patients find that investing in proper care upfront saves time and money in the long run.

What makes ProMotion Physical Therapy different from traditional PT?

Traditional healthcare often involves lackluster communication, rushed appointments, and generic exercise programs. At ProMotion, we've reclaimed the notion that good guidance starts with listening to your needs. You get personalized rehab and training plans, 24/7 access to support, and a collaborative approach that treats you as an athlete—not just a patient. We don't tell you to "take it easy." We identify the root cause and get you back to pushing your limits.

Can physical therapy help me avoid shoulder surgery?

In many cases, yes. Our Performance Rehab approach addresses the root cause of shoulder pain—not just the symptoms. By correcting movement dysfunction and building resilience, many athletes avoid surgery altogether. However, if surgery is necessary, we'll be honest about that and optimize your recovery with specialized post-surgical rehabilitation.
